We get around a lot: markets, festivals and events all over the region. We like to try whatever is on offer. And wherever there was pizza, the same thing happened every time: we thought of home. Of the evenings at the Kommune, of Timo at the oven, and of that moment when the first pizza comes out and everyone goes quiet.
An evening in August
In August 2026 we were all sitting in the garden again: friends, neighbours, family, Timo at the oven. Samuel played guitar, Boris sang, Margherita watched everything from above, and Salami, Samuel’s dog, waited under the table for anything that might drop. At some point someone said out loud what many had already been thinking: “Actually, far more people should get to experience this.” And then came the sentence: “Let’s do a stand.”
For a moment nobody said a word. Then things moved fast. Boris: “I’ll sing.” Samuel: “I’ll play guitar.” And Dad? He just said: “I’m in.” And that settled it.
More than pizza
The idea was never just selling pizza. For us, good food and music belong together, and we love getting people to join in. That is exactly what we want to take out into the world: fresh pizza from the oven, live music, a selfie spot with a red Vespa and a team in red who celebrate with you. A little party at every stand. We want to give people really good moments.
And then it all happened very quickly
We love the Christmas market in Stierstadt, and we know the people and the organisers there. So we simply asked, and the answer was yes. While playing around with “Timo’s Pizza”, the name TIAMO came up: “ti amo” is Italian for “I love you”, and the fact that it sounds almost like Timo is, of course, pure coincidence.
Our first Christmas market is on 5 and 6 December 2026 at the Christmas market in Oberursel-Stierstadt. We are showing the road there in Tiamo - The Series. Andiamo!
