Actually, things were supposed to start in December. But then an e-mail from the town of Oberursel arrived this week: we are in at the Old Town Market. And as early as Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm on the historic market square.
Right in the old town
Half-timbered houses, cobblestones and on Saturdays a market with wine, cheese, fruit and vegetables from the region: a stand from Oberursel could hardly wish for a nicer first show. This is home for us.
This time: Flammkuchen
There is often pizza at the market already. So we bring our Flammkuchen edition: the classic with crème fraîche, bacon, onions and chives, a vegetarian one with feta and olives and, for dessert, a sweet one with apple and cinnamon, plus soft drinks. Same oven, same team, same love. And a glass of wine from the stand next door goes perfectly with it.
A trial run
For us and for the market, 24 October is a trial run. We are curious whether the oven plays along, whether every move works and above all how you like the Flammkuchen. Drop by, say ciao and tell us what you think. We look forward to every familiar face.
